Cancellations

Cancelling due to sickness

Please do not come to class if you feel unwell.
You can let me know by filling the contact form here or via Facebook messenger on the Craft Room facebook page or via Instagram direct message to @thecraftroombasel. You can also just hit reply on your registration confirmation email.
Even if you cannot get hold of me in time I would rather you not show up than to show up sick!
No charges will apply for cancellations caused by sickness. You will be able to choose to reschedule, or to get a full refund.

If you need to cancel for other reasons the normal cancellation rules below apply.

other Cancellations and refunds

If you need to cancel a registration a refund will be given up to 1 week before the class date.
After that time we do not issue refunds. You can organise a replacement by transferring your place to someone else, but this is up to you to organise.
In some special circumstances we can offer you a re-schedule or credit for another class.
To cancel a class or for further information, contact me here.

If I need to cancel the class

If I should become ill, or if I need to cancel the class, I will contact you by email to the address you used when registering, so please make sure you have provided a valid email address during registration so that I can contact you in this case.

General Terms and Conditions

Registration process

See the class details for details on how to book – don’t forget to click on the time slot – even if there is only one slot on that date. Your booking won’t be final until you check out and pay.
If you have any issues with booking or paying then please drop me a message here.

Materials

Check the class description to see what materials are provided or if you need to bring something – if you need help with what to buy just drop me an email here.

What to wear?

Some of our classes are messy! Especially things involving glue, pens and dyes. We recommend that you wear something old that you don’t mind getting dirty. If you need any special protective materials e.g. gloves for dying or a face mask for drilling then we will normally provide these – but please read the class instructions for details. The Craft Room is not liable for accidental damage to clothing or belongings.

Damage to the Craft Room or our equipment

The Craft Room is a working Atelier, and damages like scratches on the table or glue and paint spills are completely normal. However, the Craft Room does have equipment that is difficult or costly to replace, and we also rent our space and need to take care of it, so we do reserve the right to charge you for any significant damages. Obviously we do work hard to try and prevent  accidental misuse of our tools during our classes by teaching you the proper way to handle them.

Data Privacy

When you register for a class we need your name and email address so we can get in touch with you about the class if we need to. We also need to store this data for tax purposes.

We will never share your data with anyone else.
