Terms and Conditions
After we receive your registration your place is confirmed and we will reserve a place for you at the class.
If you did not pay online at the time of registration, please make the payment within 10 days of receiving the invoice.
If we don’t receive your payment then we will open up the place for another student.
If you have any issues with paying or your payment is delayed then please drop us a message here.
Cancellations and refunds
If you need to cancel a registration a refund will be given up to 1 week before the class date.
After that time we cannot refund your fee because we may not be able to fill your space at late notice – but you can transfer your place to someone else (you need to organise that yourself and let us know). If we do have a waiting list for the class and someone is able to take your place then we will refund you even after 1 week. In some special circumstances we can offer you a credit for another class.
If you register for a class without paying and then change your mind please do let us know so that we can mark your registration as cancelled and open it for another student.
To cancel a class or for further information, contact us here.
If a class is full you will not be able to register for it – but we may be able to put you on a waiting list in case someone drops out – please send us a message to get on a waiting list. We can also put you on a list to inform you when the next date for that class becomes available.
Check the class description to see what materials are provided or if you need to bring something – if you need help with what to buy just drop us an email here.
Please see details about children at the Craft Room here.
What to wear?
Some of our classes are messy! Especially things involving glue, pens and dyes. We recommend that you wear something old that you don’t mind getting dirty. If you need any special protective materials e.g. gloves for dying or a face mask for drilling then we will normally provide these – but please read the class instructions for details. The Craft Room is not liable for accidental damage to clothing / bags or belongings.
Damage to the Craft Room or our equipment
The Craft Room is a working Atelier, and damages like scratches on the table or glue and paint spills are completely normal. However, the Craft Room does have equipment that is difficult or costly to replace, and we also rent our space and need to take care of it, so we do reserve the right to charge you for any significant damages. Obviously we do work hard to try and prevent your accidental misuse of our tools during our classes by teaching you the proper way to handle them.
When you register for a class we need your name and email address so we can get in touch with you about the class if we need to. We will not use your information for anything else – we will not send you marketing messages or information about other classes nor will we share your data with anyone else. If you want to receive messages from us then please sign up for our monthly newsletter here.
