Shawl Knitting

Description

In this class we will learn the basics of shawl knitting – including how to make your own custom shape – an asymmetrical or regular triangular shape scarf that can be customised with different stitch patterns, lace elements or different colours. And we’ll show you how to make quick and easy tassels or  fringe too.

You need to bring:

– 150 to 200g of DK weight yarn (something that says it will knit with 4mm needles) in one or more colours
– a pair of 4mm knitting needles

Who is the class suitable for?
You need to be able to knit and purl for this class, but no other special skills required.

This is a 1:1 class – just you and the teacher.
