This class is an introduction to sewing with a sewing machine, aimed at people who have never used one before.
In this class you will learn to use a sewing machine for simple projects – we will cover threading the machine, sewing seams, finishing edges, and we will make a simple re-usable shopper bag as a first project.
You need to bring:
Nothing! All materials are provided. You can use the Craft Room sewing machines during the class, however if you have a machine at home and want to learn with that machine, please feel free to bring it with you.
Who is the class suitable for?
Anyone! No special skills are needed, this is a complete beginner class.
How to book?
Booking a class is a two step process – you need to book a time slot for the class and then also make the payment. So that you can be directed through the process we recommend that you first add the class to the basket by clicking the button above and then search for the times via the link. Nothing will be finalised until you checkout and pay – it is always possible to remove the class from the basket if you can’t find a suitable time. Appointments won’t be valid until the payment is received.
