Learn to Sew
This class is an introduction to sewing with a sewing machine, aimed at people who have never used one before.
In this class you will learn to use a sewing machine for simple projects – we will cover threading the machine, sewing seams, finishing edges, and we will make a simple re-usable shopper bag as a first project.
We will provide the fabric and thread – you will have a choice of fabrics at the class.
You can bring your own sewing machine to class or use a Craft Room machine.
IMPORTANT notes due to COVID-19:
All classes currently only have one student – so you can’t currently book more than one place at a class.
You can still use one of our Craft Room sewing machines at this class – we will rotate the usage of machines so that we have 3 days between the use of each machine.
For all our safety procedures regarding COVID-19 please see the terms and conditions here.
