Description
This class is an introduction to sewing with a sewing machine, aimed at people who have never used one before.
In this class you will learn to use a sewing machine for simple projects – we will cover threading the machine, sewing seams, finishing edges, and we will make a simple re-usable shopper bag as a first project.
This is a group class with a maximum of 3 participants – if you would rather attend a private 1:1 class click the link here.
You need to bring:
Nothing! All materials are provided. You can use the Craft Room sewing machines during the class, however if you have a machine at home and want to learn with that machine, please feel free to bring it with you.
Who is the class suitable for?
Anyone! No special skills are needed, this is a complete beginner class.
