Fair isle is an easy way to make colourful knits. Fair Isle patterns have a maximum of two colours per row and not more than 4 stitches of one colour before switching to the next, creating “stranding” across the back of the work – this is what makes fair isle thick and warm to wear.

You can use our snowflake design or you can make your own design for the back of your gloves. The pattern is an adult size.
